Hello
I am keen on acquiring a E Type jaguar series 1 coupe. I am looking for something that has been restored to a good standard but not concours.
I was hoping with your contacts throughout NZ you may know of a car/ cars that maybe available for viewing and possible sale.
I am not new to classics as I have several currently, but am totally new to the E Type.
Hoping you maybe able to help.
Kind regards

Hi,
I have reviewed all of the E Type Jaguars in our Club. There is only one Series 1 coupe and the owner advises it is not for sale.
I don’t have information on other Jaguar Clubs in NZ. There are currently two Series 1 E Types on Trade Me.
Kind regards

Hi, I have just recently become a Jaguar owner – my first one ever. Its a 2006 Jaguar S type V6 2976cc model. I live in Cambridge and have thought about joining the club, but would like to ask if there are other S type owners in the club or is it more for the older E types and Mk 1 and 2′s as would seem from the club photos? The BOP club would be my nearest club to join. Appreciate your advise.
Hi Mike,
Thanks for your inquiry and apologies for not replying sooner.
From a quick tally, there are 18 E Types and 6 Mk 1 & 2′s in the Club. There are 12 S Types. We have everything; I guess the largest in numbers are the XK range. Total number of Jaguars around 120. [I have singled out photos of the E Types and Mk 1 and 2's just because it is rare to see so many at one particular Event].
So your S Type would not be alone and you would be welcome to apply for membership. You could download an application form from this, our website, 0r email our Membership Secretary for a form via the Contact Us page.
Kind Regards
